In honour of World Down Syndrome Day and our “Rock Your Socks” day, this month’s win is about moving beyond the colourful socks to the heart of the matter: Inclusivity.

Innovation thrives in environments where people feel safe to be different. You can foster this at home in just five minutes:

  1. Discuss how a specific difference is actually a “Superpower.” For example, if a child thinks differently or has a unique hobby, explain how that perspective helps them solve problems others might miss.
  2. Reiterate that just as a pair of mismatched socks still performs the same job perfectly, people with different abilities or backgrounds contribute equally to our community.

You’re not just teaching tolerance; you’re teaching your child to value diversity as a prerequisite for innovation. By celebrating inclusivity, you build a foundation of empathy and self-confidence that lasts far longer than a pair of socks.

Wondering what to look out for in April? Sit back and read through

The Greensprings Football Camp 2026 is back in April!

We are excited to announce the 12th edition of the Greensprings Football Camp from April 26th to May 1st, 2026. This year, we continue our mission to raise Wonderkids through a world-class footballing experience designed for children who are truly serious about the game.

Registration is officially open to children aged 5 to 17. To begin the registration process, visit the Registration .Ìý

This year, we are also doing something special: as part of our One Child, One Opportunity community initiative, we are inviting parents to sponsor a child from their neighbourhood, church, estate, or local team to attend the camp.Ìý

For many of these children, this will be their first experience of professional coaching, structured mentorship, and the kind of environment that builds confidence and character. Some parents are already coming together in small groups to sponsor one child, so no one has to do it alone.

If you would like to participate or support, please click . Let’s raise the next generation of wonderkids together.

Ever wondered how a sea of colorful socks ends up in our hallways? The Learning Support Department at Greensprings School spent weeks meticulously planning assemblies and classroom visits to ensure “Rock Your Socks Day”, in celebration of World Down Syndrome Day, was more than just a fashion statement.Ìý

From curating informative videos to sensitizing staff on the nuances of Down Syndrome, the goal was to move beyond awareness toward genuine Inclusivity.

The atmosphere turned electric as students and staff donned mismatched socks, a simple yet powerful symbol of inclusion that perfectly aligns with our values of empathy and inclusivity. Beyond the fashion statement, the day was rooted in education; the team shared insightful presentations and visited classrooms to foster a deeper understanding of those living with Down syndrome.Ìý

Through music, laughter, and shared stories, we proved that innovation in education isn’t just about technology; it’s about creating a space where every individual is celebrated for their unique perspective.

March at Greensprings School was a breathtaking celebration of the magic found between the pages. From the rhythmic pulse of spoken word to the prestigious badging of new authors, we brought World Book Week to life across our campuses.

The Annual Book Day was a vibrant highlight, graced by our Executive Director, Mrs. Lai Koiki, and senior leadership. Students transformed into literary heroes during the Parade of Book Characters, while guest speaker Ms. IB Quake inspired them to pursue their creative passions with grit.

The crowning jewel was the grand launch of “Okiki,” an anthology of student-written poems and stories, alongside our Young Author Showcase, where we celebrated a record-breaking milestone by badging 25 budding authors. »Æ¹Ïapp, we are proving that literacy isn’t just about reading; it’s about empowering our pupils to become the innovative creators of tomorrow’s classics.

This month, we proudly celebrate the quiet strengths that continue to make a meaningful difference within our school community.

A special shout-out to the Admissions and School Office team for consistently demonstrating professionalism, patience, and warmth in every interaction. From welcoming prospective families with genuine smiles to calmly guiding parents through enquiries and procedures, your courtesy and attentiveness truly reflect our February theme of Etiquette, Empathy, and Excellence.

We also recognise team members who model active listening, respectful communication, and timely follow-ups, small yet powerful habits that foster trust, reassurance, and confidence in our school. Your ability to remain composed, responsive, and solution-focused strengthens every family’s experience.

Though these daily acts of kindness and excellence may not always be visible to all, they significantly shape our culture and reputation. Thank you for leading by example and reminding us that soft skills, good manners, and strong character remain the foundation of outstanding service and institutional pride.

Most students waste hours re-reading notes they already know. This hack stops the autopilot and forces your brain to work harder in less time.

How to do it :

Take your syllabus or a chapter outline and grab three highlighters, RED, YELLOW, GREEN, or just mark with symbols. Then categorise your topics:

  • Green (The Got It): You could explain this to a friend right now. Move on, don’t waste time here.
  • Yellow (The Shaky): You know the concept, but you’d struggle with the details under pressure. Review these for 15 minutes every day.
  • Red (The Roadblock): You’re totally lost. This is where your work starts. Speak to your teacher or form tutor, or ask a peer immediately.

Don’t study harder, study smarter. If your notes are all green, you aren’t studying—you’re just reminiscing.

Valentine’s Day 2026 wasn’t about cards or candy for our U15 boys; it was about the love of the game. At the St. Clair College Canada 7-a-side competition, our Greensprings Lekki stars turned the pitch at Newhall School into a stage for resilience and grit.

The tournament tested our character early. After a narrow 1–0 opening loss to British International School, our boys refused to blink, roaring back with a commanding 3–0 victory over Russell School to secure a semi-final spot. We carried that momentum into the knockout stage, dominating the hosts, Newhall School, with another brilliant 3–0 win to set up a high-stakes final rematch.

The championship match was a 1–1 thriller that pushed both teams to the limit, eventually leading to a penalty shootout. While we finished as runners-up, the true victory came when Greensprings was officially named the “Best Performing Team” of the tournament, a testament to the teamwork and sportsmanship that define us.
